I really miss having door knobs. Finding used black or brushed nickel knobs for my house is proving to be a difficult task. It wasn’t so bad until the storm a couple of nights ago. We were sleeping with the windows open upstairs and the wind was blowing the doors open and closed.
Doorknobs also help with the sound in my echo-chamber house. On the rare occasion I watch TV after the kids go to bed, they can hear it in their rooms, even with the volume turned way down.
And just so you don’t have to ask, yes, there’s still a knob on the bathroom door. ;) It’s funny how we take things for granted until they’re gone.
