My name is Jody Wissing. I like to live my life with adventure, passion, and fun. Most of my friends would describe me as a supporter of anything artistic, environmental or humanitarian. I like making a positive difference in everything I do. If I had a personal mission statement, it would be to help make the world a better place through art and humanitarianism. Small changes really do add up to make a big impact. Our actions are our voice for what we believe in and I like to challenge myself to be a positive influence in this world.

I believe it’s good to know yourself. Knowing your personal style and why you do things the way you do allows you to utilize your strengths and relate well to others. I’ve taken many different types of these tests over the years, and I’ve narrowed it down to my two favorites.

Style of Influence

The SOI, or Style of Influence surveys four behaviors that are indicators of influencing characteristics. The four behaviors are cognitive, relational, goal and detail. This is a paid test, but worth every penny.

I’m always up for a challenge, as long as it has nothing to do with making my bed.

Light painting is greatness. I have a 15 million candlepower flashlight named Cyclops.

I love books, some to read, some to use as Legos. I have a wall made of books.

My first car was an orange Pinto called the Great Pumpkin.

I have a ranch in the desert, but I just can’t decide on a name for it, so it’s the Ranch with No Name, which I guess is a name.

I don’t have a bucket list. I do stuff instead of writing it down.

I do most of my own repairs and I can build things. Who are these “repair” people you speak of?

Spontaneous road trips make me happy.

I often wonder who the first person was that thought to eat a raw oyster?

I would sell everything I own if I could get a Futuro house to live in.

When I have nightmares, I see them as action movies you don’t have to pay for.

I have a Skelemingo in my backyard.

I have a collection of rotary dial phones.

I was not born with a fear chip. I think the lines are alphabetical. I stayed on C in the creativity line.

My favorite color is all of them with the exception of beige.
