I’m much more organized in the real world than in my virtual life. For some reason it’s easier to throw things under a folder than a rug. I’m going through literally hundreds of CD’s and DVD’s trying to clean up and organize my digital media.
So what started this? I’m looking for my photos from South Africa. I can’t find them anywhere. I have no idea how or where I backed them up. The only ones I have right now are the ones I have for sale on Dreamstime. I found the DVD of me whitewater rafting in class 5 rapids, an adventure that came a little too close to death than I’m comfortable with. Lots of memories… no photos so far. I hope I find them. I probably wouldn’t have lost them if I didn’t feel the need to keep every single little file I’ve created over the past 15 years. The good news? I got rid of the 5.25″ floppy disks.
