I’m posting the 25 piece clothing challenge separate from the blog post, as I have a few people that want to participate already. I’ll post the results monthly, along with the list of people participating. Check it out.
Take 25 pieces of clothing from your closet, place them in a box or plastic tote. Put it away for a month and see if you miss any of the stuff in it. If not, take it to the thrift store. If so, take out the item(s) you missed. Rinse, lather and repeat.
If you do this challenge, send me a photo and the date you did it. I will even pick up your box if you live in the north Dallas area and take it to the thrift store for you. I would also love to blog your results. :)
I accept your challenge. OK, well I already have done some closet purging today. I have filled 4 large black trash bags with clothes for Frisco Family Services. I will freely admit to having some clothes issues, so this is a good challenge for me. I am intending to make another pass as well. So I will add 25 more pieces for resale.
I have to admit that my purging has been motivated by my move back into my house. After 10 weeks without a miniscule amount of my clothes (I had only packed clothes for a week and had no idea I would be gone so long), I have a good persepctive to what I missed and what I didn’t…
Awesome!!! Steve and I are making a few runs to the thrift store and we’ll be bringing stuff to the lady that just got her apartment. Woohoooo!
