The most simple answer is that you have to be more creative.
Anyone with a large budget can throw money at a marketing campaign. Now, I’m not saying that anyone that has a lot of money to spend is doing it unwisely. What I am saying, is that you have to be a lot more creative in your methods when there is not a lot of money, and in most cases, that can led to some really creative marketing methods.
Here are a few good reasons to have a low marketing budget:
- Again, you have to be more creative to maximize the impact of those few dollars.
- A high impact, low cost plan is being a good steward of your money.
- You’ll probably spend some extra time price shopping, and you may find some new vendors or new ideas.
- You might end up in a thrift store shopping for stage props, so you are being green!
- Some things might be done in-house instead of outsourced. Usually more people in the church are involved and this is a great way to get volunteers plugged in.
